Dreamflier Studios is actually a decade old...wow, this year! But it wasn't always called Dreamflier Studios. Thats only been around for about seven years. Since I was fifteen I have been a web presence and by the time I was seventeen I had a website. There have been many changes, many different urls, looks, and of course, my work has grown.
Yet today the site is more than just a fun, make art and money on the side, page. Today it is about inspiring others, giving fellow artists hope for where they can go, to connect with others who follow the LORD, connect with other daydreamers, share what has been given to me, and to be openly transparent in how I do business and how I grow, change, and struggle in my every day walk.
I find it so important that this site feels cozy where one can come and just enjoy the visit without feeling like they are only here to shop. It's important that the site gives a sense of peace, where the work calms the spirit or inspires a motive to love, to fight on the side of good in a battle, to get up and do something that may just make a complete stranger's day. I find it important that my work and myself are personable, easy to approach, and inviting.
Of course I have been told the work here at Dreamflier Studios is too full of light and love. My response to that is we live in a world full of hunger, war, hatred, evil desires, and abuse. In my opinion we need more light, more love, more truth, more good winning over the evil, more confidence in the strength the LORD provides.
Dreamflier Studios is also a window. A window to heaven, to God, to what is unseen but is there right next to you...your guardian angel. Although the work is fantasy and visually make believe, it's what you feel when presently looking or searching through here...I hope...that speaks the truth. There are many words to express how the work speaks to one or the other. Below are a few from customers.
