Paint for You has been created because of the high demand
in commissioned work. For years now I have created pieces
of work for others, be it portraits, visions, dreams, rpg
characters, individual characters, or the reinvented look
of a fairytale. Recently I have noticed that there are more
and more people out there looking for someone who will paint
their ideas down on paper. I am now opening the doors to their
fullest in this direction.
The ideas and possibilities are endless, providing a wide
spectrum of uses and "styles".
First let's look at the styles. Every piece in the commission
gallery will say what kind of style it is. When requesting
a piece please go through the commission
gallery and take note of the style. If the style is mentioned
in the request order it will give me a very clear understanding
as to what look or feel is desired. The
styles are:
- SMB
Traditional: This style is my general one.
You see it all over my site particularly in the fantasy
galleries.
- SMB
Childrens: Painted the same way as SMB Traditional
but the faces and forms are simplified into a more "cartoonish"
style.
- Character
Portrait: Here I take a picture/photograph
of the person to be painted and simplifiy their features.
Basically it's a mix of real portraiture and the SMB Traditional
style.
- Portrait:
A piece where you can clearly see who the person is. I paint
from photographs for these requests.
The reasons to commission a painting are numerous, but here
are a few possibilities to get your brain thinking:

| Procedure
|

Once I receive your
order through the form I will either contact you for
more details or I'll make a sketch to show you. If you
approve of it, or once we come to a conclusion on the
final image, I will then request that you send a down
payment of 50% of the artwork price (postal charge
will be added onto final payment). No further work will
be done on the order until this payment is received.
Samples will be shown throughout the painting process
(how it is coming along). The finished piece will be
delivered only when I have received payment in full.
If you decide to cancel the commission
when 50% of the commission has been completed (onto
inking and coloring), then there will be no refunds
of what you have already paid. A full refund will only
be made if I cannot finish your commission (due to unforeseen
circumstances, etc.).

Matter |
Most subject matter is fine with me.
I like a challenge so I have no limits. Just be sure
to discuss with me what it is. If I don't feel I can't
execut it, I have the right to refuse or we can work
on further possibilities. To get a better idea as to

| The mediums I offer are: Graphite/pencil,
Digital (resolution is set at 300dpi unless requested
otherwise), Watercolor, and Ink/pen.

| Pricing |
|
Since every commission
is unique, it is difficult to post fixed prices, but
here is a general list of what is considered for the
price decision and a list of estimates:
- How many hours
- Medium
- Image size
- Sometimes, but rarely, content.

Extras |
Pricing will be higher
if you request additional elements such as: extra characters,
depending on size (if its over 11 x 14 expect price
to go up for shipping and handling), background complexity,
screentones, etc. As the original artist, I retain all
rights to commissioned work unless other arrangements
are made. I will post the work up in my portfolios,
offer merchandise, and license out the artwork. Contracts
can be discussed.

Payment |
| The following methods
of payment are accepted in US funds only:
- Money Orders
- Paypal
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express, & Discover.

| Completion
Time |
| Allow each
individual piece 4 weeks of paint time.
Once the sketch has been finalized then the
four week time period starts. If you have a specific
deadline be sure to let me know ASAP!

| Delivery
Methods |
| Email or
postal mail. For postal mail there is a shipping charge
of $6 for any artwork 11x14 or smaller. Any piece larger
will be discussed further once order is placed and caculations
for shipment have been made.

I
reserve the right to reject any commission, gift,
or request. I have right to all artworks unless discussed
otherwise.
